Senior Performance Ensemble

The senior ensemble is for people aged 14-18 years old who are passionate about musical theatre performance and have good foundation and performance skills in ideally two of the three 'triple threats' of singing, dancing and/or acting.  Participation in the senior ensemble is limited to 25-30 performers at any one time, and is by invitation only following an audition which demonstrates readiness to join. It is an annual commitment and involves performance over a public season of a show along with the opportunity to participate in other public performances.   We hold our main audition late November / early December each year, and will consider offering individual auditions outside of this time subject to a position being available. In 2017, the Senior Crew will perform Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Playhouse Theatre.

Intermediate Performance Ensemble

The intermediate ensemble is for people aged 13-15 years old who are passionate about musical theatre performance and have good foundation and performance skills in ideally two of the three 'triple threats' of singing, dancing and/or acting.  Participation in the senior ensemble is limited to 25-30 performers at any one time, and is by invitation only following an audition which demonstrates readiness to join. It is an annual commitment and involves performance over a public season of a show along with the opportunity to participate in other public performances.   We hold our main audition late November / early December each year, and will consider offering individual auditions outside of this time subject to a position being available. In 2017, the Intermediate Crew will perform The Addams Family young@part at the Peacock.

Junior Performance Ensemble

The junior ensemble is for young people aged 7-13 years old who are enjoy musical theatre performance and have some foundation 'triple threat' skills in singing, dancing and/or acting.  Participation in the junior ensemble is limited to a total of 40 performers at any one time, and is by invitation only following an audition which demonstrates readiness to join. It is an annual commitment and involves performance over a public season of a show along with the opportunity to participate in other public performances.  We hold our main audition late January/early February each year, and will consider offering individual auditions outside of this time subject to a position being available. Onstage and Centre Stage Classes

Crew Classes offer students training in foundation knowledge and skills for musical theatre. Exercises and activities focus on developing singing, acting and dancing skills, and integrating these to create musical theatre items as well as learning about the theatre. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday afternoons in two age groups 6-11 Years and 12-16 years. Students participate on a term-by-term basis.
